Seido karate practitioners wear only tradtional plain white cotton uniforms (gi).
Adults have the option of various weights..
A white belt is provided with the purchase of your first gi.
The Uniform (gi) and Belt (obi):
The 2 patches are a required part of your uniform.
The vertical patch is worn on the front left side of your gi and translated to Seido Juku. Seido means "the Sincere Way" ; Juku means "special place"
The round patch is worn on the left sleeve of your gi and is the Seido emblem. The flower design with the five petals is Kaicho Nakamura's family emblem. The 3 circles enclosed inside the petals stand for love, respect and obedience.
