SEIDO KARATE
at McBurney YMCA
Seido Karate is a traditional Japanese style of karate that provides the student with a complete physical conditioning  program that builds strong physical skills while increasing self confidence and developing spiritual awareness.

Seido, or "Sincere Way", was established in 1976 by Grand Master Tadashi Nakamura and is a worldwide organization with schools from Japan to South Africa and New Zealand to India.

The Seido Karate program at McBurney YMCA consists of separate children and adult classes with students of all ages and backgrounds.  Classes include physical conditioning, kumite (fighting), self defense, stretching and meditation.

Seido Karate has been a part of the McBurney YMCA for over 25 years.
